Thank you all for the anniversary wishes! We had an awesome sushi date. I just absolutely love avocado rolls! And we’re also going out to a new restaurant Friday night to celebrate too! Something most people close to me know is that I look for any reason to celebrate. Anything, really.

Today was supposed to be my first day in the NICU. Unfortunately the woman who I’m shadowing was ill, and she’s on vacation next week, so I have to wait 2 more weeks for my training. Kind of a bummer, but oh well. It’s probably for the best because I’ve spent most of the afternoon and evening trying to keep a migraine at bay.


I’m loving this European Peasant Bread! We’re already on our second loaf of the week. It makes Amazing sandwiches! I can’t wait to try more of the recipes from the book.



After 4 days, it’s going well. I really like having the extra push, because even when I’m not necessarily in the mood for yoga, I always feel so much better afterward. Because I normally do my yoga in the evening, I most enjoy the gentle hatha flows.  The 45 minute Gentle Hatha #1 is my current favorite.

  2. That’s a lot of baking! Vegan Dad posted a yummy looking loaf of cinnamon raisin bread so I’m thinking that may have to be on the docket for this weekend.
