Hey, remember me? I know it’s been forever, but I’m still around. Unfortunately the past couple months have really gotten away from me. My grandma Doherty, my mom’s mom passed away a few weeks ago, and between losing both of my grandmothers within 2 months and a busy summer school schedule, life has sort of overwhelmed me lately. The good news is that I think I’m getting back on track.
There’s no point in back-tracking on my food — it’s been spectacularly mediocre, but I did want to post about our most recent Bake-A-Long project: Sunflower Seed Breakfast Loaf from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. Crystal suggested this as our next bread, and I’m glad she did. I forget when I made it. A few weeks ago, I guess. I only made enough dough for one loaf, which we promptly ate.
It was soft and tasty, and I loved the sunflower seeds in it. I’m off to watch a movie, but I hope I’ll be posting more regularly now. I also hope I can catch up on reading some of your blogs — I’m weeks behind!
